Based on boats spotted for sale, 2015–now
We've tracked more than 50 Aintree Beetles advertised for sale over the last 10 years. No boat names, no owners, no marinas - just length, age and price.
Every number on this page is an average across several boats - never about one identifiable boat.
What we've noticed
We've been quietly collecting "for sale" adverts for Aintree Beetles for 10 years. It's not a huge number of boats but it's all real - and it tells an interesting story.
The typical (middle) asking price for each boat length, versus the cost of a brand-new one in 2026

What older boats sell for, compared with newer ones of the same length
A seven-year-old Beetle typically sells for about the same price as a much newer used one of the same length - age barely seems to move the price. (It's still a fair bit less than buying new - see the panel on the left.)
Work out a rough value
Tell us how long your boat is and we'll look at similar Beetles we've seen advertised. We adjust their prices for how the market has moved since, then give you a sensible range.
This is a rough guide, not an official valuation. Length drives the estimate; age, hours and condition only nudge it slightly, based on reasonable assumptions rather than a strong pattern in the data.
Newer than typical for this length nudges the price up a little, older nudges it down.
Lower than typical nudges the price up a little, higher nudges it down.
We assume average unless you tell us otherwise.
